Exercise, it turns out, is almost a miraculous cure for many ailments.
It has been found to reduce the symptoms of depression. This finding has been replicated in multiple randomized large studies, which is very impressive.
Exercise has been found to lower blood pressure, improve cholesterol and triglyceride levels in patients with hypertension.
…and for people with diabetes, exercise has been found to lower blood sugar levels.
…and for people with chronic pulmonary disease exercise has also been found to improve their health.
..and for people with rheumatoid arthritis…
What level of exercise is needed? Almost any exercise will help but the goal is 150 minutes of aerobic exercise each week, which could be 30 minutes a day…brisk walking is just fine.
So let’s get our sneakers on and go out there!
